In the latest batch of classic games making their way to Nintendo’s online subscription service for the switch, customers are now able to access and play all five of the original Mega Man remakes that were previously released on the Game Boy between 1991 to 1994.
An Accidental Leak
This announcement from the official Nintendo Twitter account comes only days after a leak appears to have surfaced on Reddit. In the original screenshot that was shared, the user noticed a store notice advertising the games had appeared on the Portuguese version of the eShop, showing the five games despite them being unavailable and no announcements having been made. While some commenters were skeptical, the announcement a short time later served to confirm the contents of the leak.
Customers can now download and enjoy all 5 Mega Man games as a part of their subscription.
